The first ever Emotion Hack Day took place in Helsinki, Finland on 28.8 – 29.8.2015.
24 hours, 40 people on-site + streaming to 200 followers.
Examples of projects:
- a game-like application for gathering big data on emotions conveyed by facial expressions (works currently only on Firefox)
- an application that transformed facial expression data into an emoji (called Catmoji.me)
- emoji visualization and mapping to emotion dimensions
- transforming psychophysiological emotion data into sound
Supported by organizations such as Affectiva, Noldus, Ambronite, The Finnish national broadcasting company Yle and Reaktor.
